Dominion Care Outpatient Services is expanding and is pleased to announce that Cynthia Maghakian, MD will be joining our team as an Adult Psychiatrist on January 3, 2017.

Dr. Maghakian has a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Medicine and General Studies from the State University of New York at Oneonta and a Doctorate of Medicine from La Faculte Libre de Medecine de Lille, France.  She completed her internship and psychiatric residency at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).

Dr. Maghakian has an extensive background in adult psychiatry and has worked for several local hospitals, including Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Administration Medical Center and Central State Hospital.  She has also worked in private practice and with local community mental health services.  Dr. Maghakian has vast experience in the treatments of Mood Disorders, PTSD, Substance Abuse, and Thought Disorders.  She also serves as an adjunct Associate Professor at VCU Medical Center.  Please join us in welcoming her to our organization.
