Dominion Care Waiver Services is very pleased to announce that we are expanding our services to meet the needs of more individuals across Virginia.  In addition to our existing Group Day Services, In-Home Residential Supports, and Sponsored Residential Services, we are now providing:

Independent Living Services

• Our new Independent Living Services and supports are for individuals 18 and up striving to obtain more autonomy.
• After learning about the individual’s specific needs, our trained service coordinators and direct support professionals develop and implement a personalized plan to guide them on their journey to successfully securing a self-sustaining, independent living environment in the community.

Community Engagement Services

• We can now assist individuals 18 and up integrate effectively within their community by offering opportunities to interface and foster naturally supportive relationships with people who live, work, and/or volunteer in their local areas.
• Through a ratio of one staff member to three individuals (1:3), we give them a gateway to their community which enables them to access and participate in typical day-to-day activities the general population encounters on a regular basis.
• The individual benefits by achieving a higher level of confidence and increased social skills through developing natural relationships with their community members.

And, stay tuned because we are excited to share that we will soon be offering the following new services as well, further increasing our footprint and helping even more people in Virginia communities.
