What can I expect after applying?

Our Talent Acquisition team carefully reviews every application. If your background aligns with the role, a recruiter will reach out to schedule an initial conversation or a phone screening, depending on the position you are being considered for, and guide you through the next steps in the hiring process.

How long does the hiring process take?

We strive for an efficient and timely hiring experience. Most candidates can expect the process, from application to offer, to take approximately 1–3 weeks, depending on the role.

Background Checks & Employment Eligibility

Does Dominion Care conduct criminal background checks?

Yes. Dominion Care conducts a general criminal background check following an offer of employment and acceptance of a position. Some roles may also require an additional Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check if transporting clients is part of the position responsibilities.

If I have an offense in my background, can I still apply?

Yes. A past offense does not automatically disqualify candidates from employment consideration. Eligibility depends on the nature of the offense, the position requirements, and applicable regulations. We encourage honesty and transparency throughout the hiring process.

Employment Information

How often will I be paid if employed by Dominion Care?

Dominion Care employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis. Direct deposit is available through our HRIS/payroll system.
